What does * 67 do?

Can someone see my number if I use *67?
Even with today's diverse range of communication devices, *67 still works on cell phones and landlines. No matter which device you use, whether an iPhone or Android, the code allows you to hide your phone numbers during calls.
Can a *67 call be traced?
Yes, they can be traced. Prefixing a phone number dialed with *67 does block the transmission of Caller ID, which for most everyday purposes makes it anonymous, but there is another mechanism available to toll-free customers to retrieve the calling number, and of course the phone company records have the actual number.
Does *67 actually work?

Any number you call while using *67 or the local version will not be able to redial your number. But keep in mind that this only works for phone calls, not text messages.
