Who owns your Sky Q box?
Sky Q boxes and any other equipment we designate as Sky-owned will remain the property of Sky or another company in the Sky group of companies at all times (unless agreed otherwise) and are loaned to you at no cost. Each item of equipment loaned to you from time to time is “loaned equipment”.

Can you use someone else's Sky Q box?
Your utilisation of Sky Multiscreen relies on you being on the same network as your main Sky Q box in order for the Mini boxes to communicate with your main Sky box. Taking your Mini boxes out of the house and trying to use them elsewhere without the Sky Q box would not work because of this.

Can someone else use my Sky?
Sky. Sky customers can share the service with others by setting up the Sky Go live and on-demand service. In a nutshell, Sky lets you register up to six devices to your account including phones and games consoles.
What happens if I don't return my sky Q box?
If your Sky Q, Sky Stream puck or broadband kit has been loaned to you as part of your subscription, you'll need to return it to us when you leave. If you hang on to it, you'll pay a non-return fee.

You can have a maximum of 4 mini boxes loaned to you by Sky. You can watch Sky content on two minis and the main box at the same time. You may be able to use a 3rd mini box at the same time if you're using it for one of the apps such as Netflix. The original 1TB (non-UHD) Sky Q box only allows one mini to be in use.

Yes Sky Q will work with different Broadband suppliers. Main difference is tha when not using Sky Broadband you need to connect the Q box to the Router 2.4 GHz WiFi band. Of course you can also connect by Ethernet.
How do I reactivate my sky Q box?
Hold down the Reset button on the back of the Sky Q Mini box and switch it back on at the mains. Keep holding it until the light on the front flashes red and green. This will take about 30 seconds. Once it flashes red and green, press the standby button on the front of the box.
When I move do I take my Sky box with me?
When you move, you need to take all your Sky equipment with you to your new home, except the satellite dish and the cables running from it to your Sky box (or boxes). Your Sky engineer will not do this.

Unlike the box currently sat under your TV, the Sky Q Silver box is 4K-friendly (the base Sky Q box isn't). That means it will play nice with 3840 x 2160 pixel UHD content. If you've got a 4K TV, your films and sporting events will be four times sharper and more detailed then HD content.

Re: How do I disconnect devices off of my wifi @Mitchell26 you cannot disconnect individual devices from the hub all you can do is either turn off the wifi totally or change the password if you think someone outside your home is using your network. Any other control has to be done on the device.
How long is a sky Q box guaranteed for?
Your Sky dish comes with a warranty against faults arising in the first 12 months after installation. The 12 month warranty also covers cabling and/or installation faults.
